Website and social media policy
This website and associated social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Bluesky, YouTube and LinkedIn - are managed by members of my team.
They are intended to keep residents up to date with news on my work in our area and in Parliament. Therefore, I would like to ensure that they remain a safe and informative space for everyone, including for myself and my team.
I welcome constructive discussion and feedback regarding my work and the work of the Government. However, I have a zero-tolerance approach to abusive, defamatory, repetitive or nuisance comments. My team and I will decide which comments break these guidelines and comments of this nature will be removed, and I reserve the right to block repeat offenders.
While I aim to monitor comments on these channels and try to respond where I can, I cannot always reply here. Concerns about politics are often complicated, and these issues cannot always be effectively discussed in the comment section of a social media post.
If you are a constituent and have questions or concerns, please always contact me by emailing josh.dean.mp@parliament.uk in the first instance, so that these concerns can be responded to effectively. My office has a zero tolerance policy on abusive contact and no response will be made to such correspondence. I remind constituents to familiarise themselves with my acceptable behaviour policy when contacting my office.
I am always happy to discuss any concerns you may have at a surgery appointment. Please contact me by emailing josh.dean.mp@parliament.uk with your full name, postal address including postcode, a contact number, and as much detail about your case(s) as possible, and my office will arrange an appointment for you at the next available opportunity.
You can also keep up to date with my work representing Hertford and Stortford by subscribing to my newsletter.
This website and social media policy is not exhaustive and is subject to change.
