Following a successful launch last year, primary school children across Hertford and Stortford are invited to once again showcase their creativity this festive season by entering a Christmas card competition. Open to children aged 3-11, this wonderful initiative will give young people a chance to design a card that could be sent to some of the most important figures in the country.
The winning card will be sent to the Prime Minister, His Majesty The King, and to communities across the Hertford and Stortford constituency. It’s a unique opportunity for children to be part of the Christmas celebrations in a truly memorable way.
Theme: Christmas in our Communities
All types of media are welcome, from crayons and markers to paint and pens. The only rule is to have fun and let those creative ideas flow! Entrants must mark their name, school, and year group on the back of the card or include it with their entry.
How to enter: Submit your entry by posting to my office:
Office of Josh Dean MP, Unit 2, 73 South Street, Bishop’s Stortford CM23 3AL.
Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday 24th October
A panel of judges will review the submissions, with a prize for the winning entry. The name and school of the winner will also be featured on the card.
Josh Dean MP expressed his enthusiasm for the competition, saying, “Following the success of last year’s competition, I’m delighted to launch my Christmas card competition for primary school children in Hertford and Stortford for the second year running. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate their creativity and bring festive cheer to our community. I can’t wait to see the wonderful designs they come up with this Christmas”
